The last challenge of 2011

As this is my last challenge for this year the topic is 'Your Choice'... so here is my DT tag.... yes another tag... I am addicted - just blame the Duke of Distress....
Sorry to say nothing Tim about this one.... I created the background using Pan Pastels my favourite medium right now... mixed some blues and purples with a touch of grey and this is what I came up with  - I like it... so easy to do and very effective.
I stamped randomly with Black Archival inks using some Kanban Time stamps and a freebie flower from Crafts Beautiful.  I found in the drawer here some decoupage sheets... no idea where from but maybe Create and Craft.. so made up this lovely Goddess like female and added some of  the Kanban wings to let her fly free. I added a silver circle and some turquoise ribbon and hey presto job done. Surprising what you can do even if you don't have everything with you... I hope you like.

SANTA...........claws!!!

The challenge this week over at Bah Humbug is 'Furry Friends' - well mine are feathered ladies but they do make me go ahhhhhh!!! even though they don't actually have paws. The main image is from a set I bought from Create and Craft mounted onto some tartan background paper with chomped corners.  I cut the red and gold star paper using the Martha Stewart punch, and added a couple of peel off stickers for embellishment. A really simple card but one more done for Christmas. Hope you will accept the claws instead of paws.

Floral Fantasy

This is my DT card for Cute Daisy May 'Floral Fantasy' challenge this week. I love the new fairy images - this one especially. I coloured her using Promarkers again and added the mandatory Stickles glitter glue - well you could not have a fairy without glitter now could you? lol. The background card is cut from a Create and Craft kit and I added the little Daisy May shrinkie floating in the flowers too. The stamp is from Dimension Fourth. HOT COLOURS

Another DT card for this week's challenge at Cute Daisy May - topic being 'HOT COLOURS'. The background card, glittered and foiled and decoupage are from Create and Craft and I have stamped Daisy May onto canvas this time and coloured using Promarkers. Raised on foam tape this made a simple little card for the challenge. Do pop over and enter this week's challenge and maybe win a download of your choice. Get Well Soon Fan Card

I made this card for my husband's secretary who has broken her leg in two places - not very nice, and also decided to use it for my challenge this week.

The fan is from the recent set from Create and Craft - my wonderful friend Fankie bought me the set for my birthday (not till March actually). The flowers are simply decoupaged with drops of Stickles glitter glue added to enhance them. I added a couple of peel off corners for effect. There is also a little black cut out stand for display. The back I will show on a separate posting.

Back of the Fan Card

Here is the back of the fan covered with Joanna's wonderful silk paper. I stamped a few swirls (stamp from the magazine freebie set last week) and added jewels and peel off corners for decoration.
