In Full Bloom

Here is my DT card for this week's CD Sunday challenge 'In Full Bloom'.
I used the Flower Boutique CD from Debbi Moore to print the background card which is rather large 7 inches by 9inches in real life.  I attached the tag from the same cd with gold ribbon and added some gold peel off stickers for the sentiments. I thought this image ideal for a Ruby Wedding.

Ice Cream and Ice Cream Colours

Here are the cards I created for my challenge this week which is to use Ice Cream or Ice Cream Colours - I chose to use both.
The background card is from a Hunkydory kit over which is layered the main image. This was created on a piece of chipboard using the new Eco Green paints, Clamshell, Waterfall and Peony.  I painted them on the board then dabbed them over with a plastic bag to get the texture and to mix the paints.  I then stamped with Archival inks the sundaes and messages, both bought in New York at The Ink Pad stamp shop - they are from A Muse  Artstamps Seattle.  I then polished the boards and yes they do look shiny in real life just as Julia said they would.  I love them and am afraid I need more lol. Have a Heart

Here is my DT card for CD Sunday 'Have a Heart' challenge this week.
I found this lovely old fashioned image on the Crafty Images Emporium cd and thought it would be just right for this weeks card.  The background card is a printed and embossed one from a Dufex set.   I added the image a couple of pink glittered swirls from QVC and the message (also from Dufex) with three little gems in the corner.  This is  DL card created the landscape way for a change.

Music Inspires

Here is my DT card for Crafty Ann's Embossing challenge this week.  I printed the digi image, from Ann herself, onto meltdust vellum, then embossed using black Meltdust.  I coloured it from behind using Copics and then shaded on the top side again with the same pens.  I added the little flower and gem centre plus the Inspire chipboard word which is the same colour as the guitar.

Take a trip to Fantasyland with me - with an added twist

Here is my latest challenge card - for my own challenge today.  The main card was created using my new MCS Illustrious Illusions cd (changing the colour scheme) - I love it.  I wrapped the printed ribbon from the cd round the back and left hand side of the gate fold card and mounted the topper over it. Then I made the tag colouring with Distress Inks, Broken China and Faded Jeans then overstamped the door from Lavinia and the fairy from Clarity with some added swirls and stars in blues and black.  I attached the tag using a blue brad in the centre of the blue flower and added the chipboard Dream from DCWV.
I hope you like my fantasyland trip as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Girl Power

'Girl Power' is the topic for CD Sunday challenge this week - not an easy one for me this time.  H0wever, here is my DT card using a Rockhard Fairy that I thought looked a little like a Wonder Woman type of person flying through the air. I have stacked  and mounted her onto a pink card which is covered with torn edged papers from Michele Marsden Triple Treasures cd and also Oriental Fairies cd .  I added the pink glittered swirls and created the Girl Power message using the  Xyron Design Runner.  Do pop over to the blog and see the other lovely DT cards and enter yourself. Acetate covered Christmas Village

The challenge this week from Bah Humbug is to use 'Acetate' on our creations.
I simply love to see acetate that has been through the Cuttlebug so have added an overlay, attached with a snowflake brad,  using the Snowflakes embossing folder with added colour splodges. The acetate has slipped on the scanner but it means you can see it more clearly than if it was directly over the scene, which it is in real life. The scene was stamped and coloured using Lyra crayons for a change, stamps a mixture from Art Impressions and Scene its plus the snowflake and message from Glenda. Another one for the box.

Football challenge - yes really

Crafty Ann has asked for a football related colour scheme, the colour of your National flag,  this week so here is my DT card.  Firstly football is certainly not my game of choice - wrong shaped ball - secondly I do not support England as they are useless in my opinion. So... this started off as Blue and White for Scotland until I realised that they are not in the World Cup this time so I opted for Red White and Blue for New Zealand. Yes - their flag is not Black and White as some people may think. I lived there for some years and am a huge supporter of the country - hence my choice.
So to begin I covered a square card with blue and white flowery vellum and scored a few lines with my Martha Stewart scoring board, chomped the corners (yes again Beryl!) and distressed the edges. I cut two mats using my new Tim Holtz Alterations die - one out of blue glitter card, the other plain white.  I sponged Broken China Distress inks over the white card and stamped the red sentiments, then covered with blue glitter film and mounted over the vellum. I printed out the lovely mask image from Ann, coloured with Copics and added some gems and pearls.  A couple more pearls at the side to complete the card.
Next time Ann please have Rugby as your theme....... lol then I really can do black and white.....All Blacks forever.....

Lace'd Silhouette card

Here is number 4 for this week's challenge at Bah Humbug.  Another lovely digi image from Stampndoodle this time just mounted over some black ribbon onto a lace'd card.  I popped some green glitter adhesive under the lace to give the sparkly effect, added a bow and gems and again the Winter sentiment from Stampscapes.
