Music Inspires

Here is my DT card for Crafty Ann's Embossing challenge this week.  I printed the digi image, from Ann herself, onto meltdust vellum, then embossed using black Meltdust.  I coloured it from behind using Copics and then shaded on the top side again with the same pens.  I added the little flower and gem centre plus the Inspire chipboard word which is the same colour as the guitar.

Recipe challenge for Crafty Ann - No 13 Lucky for some

This is my DT card for Crafty Ann's recipe challenge this week - 3 colours, 3 flowers, 1 ribbon and a main image.   I printed the main violin and music digi image from Ann onto vellum and white card embossing both with black meltdust.  On the card  I sprinkled extra meltdust to get the speckled effect in the background.  I coloured with Copics and then embossed the back of the vellum image and attached to the card using a blue brad (which you now can't see for the flowers he he). This was attached to a blue card and I added three blue green Prima flowers with brad centres, a ribbon bow and the chipboard sentiment Listen (to the violin of course).

A Touchy Feely challenge

Here is my DT card for Crafty Ann's challenge this week - 'Touchy Feely' - with lots of texture. Ann's lovely squirrel digi image was printed and embossed with the new wonderful Meltdust after changing the colour on the computer to sepia. I printed the frame (also Ann's digi image) after changing the colour to orange, cut out the aperture and inserted the squirrel. I added acetate flower and leaf peeloffs and decoupaged them, then coloured the frame flowers using Copic Markers (my new additions from the NEC). I added lots of Stickles glitter glues - sorry you can't really see them very well on the scan for extra texture.
