Flying High

'Astronauts' was the topic at So Salsa this week - not an easy subject I think. However, I found this image in My Craft Studio and printed it out onto some lovely clouds paper and added the words to make my tag.

B is for Blue, Butterfly and Brads

'Initials' for Tanda Teaser, 'Brads' for My Time to Craft, 'Blue' for Make it Mondays , Wings' for Created by Hand, and 'Puzzle' for So Salsa - these are the challenges that this card covers. I made the puzzle background using Stardust Stains and Glimmer Mists then overstamped the butterfly and cut the shapes with the Cuttlebug jigsaw die and attached them to the blue pearlescent card. I added blue rick rack ribbon down the side. The small card with the message inside was stamped with the butterfly onto white watercolour card and coloured using Lyra crayons, then chalked with blue chalks. I added a blue pearl and silver brad, blue and pink ribbon, blue chipboard initial and another raised blue butterfly sticker to complete the card.

Paisley Flowered Tag

This week the challenge at So Salsa was 'Paisley' which I love. The background card was sponged with purple inks then the purple tag, which I ran through the Paisley Cuttlebug embossing folder, was attached. The lilac spotted card added down the side and a couple of messages, flower with pearl brad and ribbon complete the look.

Male Birthday Stitching

A very quick card here for my cousin's birthday this week, I need to mail it today so had to be quick and simple. SoSalsa challenge this week is to make a label with 'Stitching' so here is my entry. All from a Lisa Bearnson kit the label has a clear pocket, which is actually stitched, holding the message. I layered this onto the spotted card and added the happy birthday strip.

A is for Apple

Ok, so I thought it was A is for ... which is why I did the previous tag but now I have read the challenge at SoSalsa it is 'A for apple' so here is the correct one. The gold tag with pink ribbons has a simple rubon and a chipboard letter A with a white pearl gemstone.

American Adventures

It really helps if you read the challenges properly before making a tag. I thought SoSalsa challenge was A for ... so mine was American Adventures but this is wrong as the next tag shows, so thought I may as well leave it here. The background was created using various different foils with a sticker of the States and Adventures and USA stickers with a chipboard A with a pearl gem stone and pink ribbon.
