Artfully Asian - CD Sunday
Here is my DT card for CD Sunday weekly challenge - this week the topic being 'Artfully Asian'. I created the backgrounds using MCS Professional and swirled the symbol for happiness using pink on blue background for the inside and purple on pink for the main outer section of the card. After adding Flower Soft to the trees and blossom I printed them out and created a different fold - just made it up using the scoreboard - then added the blue sheet as an insert. The main image is Pyramage from Debbi Moore Oriental cd stacked onto blue sparkly mirri card. I Cuttlebugged using the new Oriental designs on silver mirri and attached to the left hand side of the card and added pink and silver ribbon. A pink velvet ribbon tie and a chipboard sentiment from DCWV complete the look ooh and chomped corners too.Do pop over and check out the challenge and have fun.

Salmony Pink Christmas

One more for Bah Humbug 'Shades of Pink' challenge - why make one when you can make two? This card is more salmony pink than the previous one. The layered image again from Crafty Image Emporium cd and a couple of chipboard pink snowflakes. Very simple card to make but another one off the list for later.A Pink Christmas

Bah Humbug have a Christmas challenge this week to use Shades of Pink and be different so here is my creation. The background card was from a QVC set, Brenda Pinnick I think overlayed with some dark pink gingham - yee haa - paper edged with a Martha Stewart punch. The main image was printed from I think a Crafty Image Emporium cd as were the two smaller images. The chipboard 'joy' sentiment is also from a Brenda Pinnick set.

Recipe challenge for Crafty Ann - No 13 Lucky for some

This is my DT card for Crafty Ann's recipe challenge this week - 3 colours, 3 flowers, 1 ribbon and a main image. I printed the main violin and music digi image from Ann onto vellum and white card embossing both with black meltdust. On the card I sprinkled extra meltdust to get the speckled effect in the background. I coloured with Copics and then embossed the back of the vellum image and attached to the card using a blue brad (which you now can't see for the flowers he he). This was attached to a blue card and I added three blue green Prima flowers with brad centres, a ribbon bow and the chipboard sentiment Listen (to the violin of course).Do pop over to Ann's challenge blog and enter yourself - you may just be lucky enough, challenge 13 lucky for some, to win a prize of digi images of your choice.

SANTA...........claws!!!

The challenge this week over at Bah Humbug is 'Furry Friends' - well mine are feathered ladies but they do make me go ahhhhhh!!! even though they don't actually have paws. The main image is from a set I bought from Create and Craft mounted onto some tartan background paper with chomped corners. I cut the red and gold star paper using the Martha Stewart punch, and added a couple of peel off stickers for embellishment. A really simple card but one more done for Christmas. Hope you will accept the claws instead of paws.

I created the background using Distress inks and stamped a tree and some foliage, tree from Clarity - foliage from Hobby Ary then mounted the chiminia on top. I added some acetate to a green window card and placed the image behind. Then added lots of sunny flowers with gem centres and the sentiments from Hero Arts on a Nestie flower shape and oversprayed the whole card with gold glitter from Crafter's Companion.Do join in Ann's challenge if you can you could be lucky and win some of her lovely images for yourself.

EMBOSSING FOR CHRISTMAS
This week's Bah Humbug challenge is to use embossing on your card so here are my two. The first one consists of some lovely plaid papers and an image of deer from who knows where and some Cuttlebugged mats and layers. Some added sparkle, a snowflake gem, a peel off snowman (see girls am using them now) and a sentiment to embellish.

On the second card I embossed the lines using my Martha Stewart board then added some silver mirri card embossed with the Cuttlebug holly folder. The image was stamped and coloured with Promarkers and Copics then overlayed with a lovely acetate frame from QVC. Red gems, a couple of corners and a sentiment to embellish.
Do I get an award for making two each week then ladies??? lol
