Get well soon Nicola

My dear friend Nicola has had an operation and will be out of action for around six weeks and needs to RELAX - hence the sentiment on this card. The topper is one I created for my DT entry for Cute Daisy May - a little shrinkie Daisy May amongst the Cuttlebugged coredinations swirls and the Debbi Moore flowers. The sentiment is from DCWV I think. Get well soon my friend and do as the docs have ordered and relax. xx I am also entering this for

Let's Get Embossed

Here is my card for this week's Cute Daisy May challenge 'Let's Get Embossed'. I printed the image and embossed with black sparkle powder, coloured with Promarkers and glitter glues then attached to a couple of backgrounds made using inks direct to glossy card and cut the fancy corners with decorative scissors.

I embossed the turquoise mirri card with the 'Distressed Stripes' Cuttlebug folder and the black core-dinations card with 'Diamonds in the Rough' folder then sanded the black so the blue would show through. I tore the edges and matted onto the blue mirri and added the chipboard letters for the word FUN and sanded the edges.
