Here is my entry for DCM 'Woman' dare. The stamp set is from Dimension Fourth Project Club, stamped in black Stazon and coloured in Sakura pens, watercoloured and with added chalks. Just matted on brown pearlized card on a cream dekkle edged card (all included in the monthly project).
Some of you may have seen this one before as I made it for my brother-in-law's birthday earlier this year, but I like it so thought I could use it again, hope you don't mind. It is for the TGIF 'Men' challenge. The stamps are from Sara's Crafters Companian Oriental cd set, simply stamped and coloured in with pens and chalks and decoupaged.
Here is my Queen of Hearts for the 4 x 4 Friday 'Alice in Wonderland' challenge today. The image was stamped and embossed in gold, then cut out and the arms attached with gold brads (to make them move easily). She is coloured in Marvy pens and the skirt is a piece of black and gold netting.
This card that I share tonight covers two challenges, Created By Hand 'Bunny' template challenge and DCM extra 'Mum's Recipe' which is 2 buttons, 1 ribbon and a bunch of flowers dare. First, I cut out the bunny using the template given and covered her with Tapestry stamps in pinks, purples and greens. I also stamped the background with flowers, leaves and grasses and coloured them using Cosmic shimmer mica powders. Two green buttons, one for her eye and one for her nose, a white and silver ribbon and a bunch of purple flowers plus a cottonwool tail completed the card. I think she likes the flowers - Happy Easter.
A very simple thank you card here made for Tanda Teaser 'All of a piece' challenge - that is to use only one piece of paper for background and embellishments. I created the torn violet background paper using My Craft Studio then enlarged the flowers and decoupaged them over the background. The only other embellishment is the thank you message.
Here is a card made for Enfys 'black white and one other colour' challenge for blog candy that she is kindly giving away. The circles main background card is from Michele Marsden's cd and the image is from Joanna's 'Dancing with Shadows' cd, simply matted on blue holographic card. The stamped message is from Stamps Away (one of my prize choices from Scrummy Stash Cafe).
Ok all, I know it is February but ..... I made one like this last year for Christmas, so, as I am trying to make only Christmas cards on the 25th of the month, I made this one the other day. The challenge at Wednesday Stamper this week is 'Stars' so here is my entry. The lovely snowman from who knows where, was stamped onto a white circle and coloured using watercolours and Sakura glaze pens. After attaching him to the white silver edged card I covered him with this lovely pale blue starry material I found last year at NEC. That's one less for this year. I just found Fab's Christmas Challenge so am adding this card to that challenge. I think it is such a good idea.
A black and white card for a 'Circles' challenge over at Arty Girlz today. The background card was printed direct to glossy card from Michele Marsden's cd then four mats, silver, black, white fuzzy felt and black card with the image from Joanna's 'Dancing With Shadows' cd. The scan makes the white circles look grey but they are actually pure white.
Here is a 'Tick Tock' themed challenge at Sunday Stampers. The gold torn paper has lots of time sayings but smudged to make look distressed. The white glossy card has been stamped in brown Stazon, with a selection of time stamps from Stick 'n Stamp, then distressed and attached over the gold paper. I also added a couple of clock stickers, the gold word Time and corner stickers plus the pocket watch which is stamped onto brown paper and raised on foam tape.

Here is my entry for this week's History challenge over at Gothic Arches. Geography was always my better subject not History but I did remember this man from English Literature and Drama lessons. I found the picture and with the help of some sonnets backing paper that I already had, created this arch in My Craft Studio where I also added the words.
Made this for a swap so thought it would be good for this week's 'Afrika' challenge at TMTA. I merged two photos using Picasa to get the double layered effect with the animals and mounted it on black and then gold. I added the bits left over from peeloffs to get the gold burnt grass at the bottom. The second layer is covered with animal print fuzzy paper and attached with a gold brad. The gold sun is lso a peeloff.
Well, here is something totally different for me. I incorporated a 'Numbers' challenge from Scrummy Stash Cafe with a bling card swap and this is the result. I cut the shapes from a template I found on Time For Crafting website and covered them with Joanna's green and black lace paper. I laced it together with gold cord and added the gold sparkles for the bling. The top picture shows the message tag, pull upwards to read the message, and I added the numbers 36, 24 and 'I wish' in gold stickers and added a few jewels to finish it off. I have won two ten pound vouchers already from Scrummy Stash Cafe (my last card won again) so going for a third this week !! Just realised I missed off 
Here is an early Christmas card made for a 'Fabric 'challenge at Step Outside Your Box Saturdays. The card is covered with the lovely blue and silver stars and circles fabric and the snowman fabric square covers a piece of cardboard. I just added corners and message and hey ho another card less for December. As I made this in February I am also adding to Fab's Christmas Challenge .
Here is my entry for 'Sitting Pretty' from Skinny Saturday challenge site. I made the background using alcohol inks on glossy card (think I am addicted to them!) and rounded the corners. I stamped the lovely bear from Dimension Fourth in black Stazon and watercoloured her using Cosmic Shimmer Mica Powders and cut her out. I then sat her amongst pink and purple flowers which have jewel centres and added the sentiment. I think she likes the flowers!
Here is my combined effort for DCM 'Plastic' and TGIF 'Backgrounds' challenges. First of all I bought my husband a new shirt (I do things like that)and removed all the plastic bits and papers and found the strip with slots in. Ha, ha, I thought I can use this so - yellow ribbon threaded through it for the left hand edging. I made the yellow background using alcohol inks caramel and butterscotch and over stamped with the egg, the bees, butterflies and sentiment in black Stazon of course. I matted this onto copper mirri then over yellow flowered torn paper on a cream pearlized card. I stamped some more sentiments and stamped the egg on the flowered paper and overlayed it on the other egg. A bee and butterfly were also decoupaged. I added some Sakura metallic gold pen and clear Stickles glitter glue and there we are - finished.
This card covers two challenges today, the 'Toy Box' at Tanda Teaser and 'Watercolours' at 4 x 4 Friday. As trains are usually part of a boy's toy box, (both large and small boys I should add) I started off stamping the train, from Dimension Fourth, with black Stazon and watercoloured it using Sakura metallic pens. I decided then to make it into a scenic card as well, so masked the train and added the trees, rocks, track and grass, again with Art Impressions stamps, coloured in with watercolours. The sky is finished in pastel chalks. I then just matted onto black card on a blue pearlized card.
Here is something a little different for the 'Bookmarks' challenge at Wednesday Stamper. I stamped the black card with the Oriental tree, bird, flowers and grass stamps from English Stamp Co. and embossed in gold. I then coloured a piece of stampboard with pinks and purples, my favourite colours, stamped the text in darker pink and stamped and embossed the corners with the grass stamp. With my trusty Crop-a-dile made the holes and attached the stampboard with lilac thread. This will hang over the page hopefully. I always read at night before going to sleep, hence the text 'Dare to Follow Your Dreams.'
Sorry, I know I have used this stamp before but it seems to be the only bird one I have and the challenge at Sunday Stamper this week is 'Birds'. The stamp is part of a Tapestry set stamped in brown Stazon with varied green leaves. I also edged the card with brown ink.
This is a card made for a Celestial card swap. The image and starry background are from My Craft Studio on white glossy card. I ran this through the new jigsaw Cuttlebug cutting die, using my new Cuttlebug machine I should add, then matted onto lilac card on lilac glittered paper. I highlighted the moon and stars with Stickles glitter glue and glitter and added the eyelet and falling star on purple thread. I hope my partner likes it.

Well, Easter is nearly upon us, and the challenge today at DCM extra was to use 'Oranges and Lemons' on our card, so I tied the two together for this one. I did one of these a wee while ago and thought I would do another one using the DCM challenge colours. The background yellow card was run through the swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder and chalked with green chalk. The chicks (part of a front and back set) were stamped and coloured using pens and mounted on the card. The egg stamp (from Jayne Nesterenko I think ) was stamped then coloured using chalks. I then added the finishing touch message using stickers and rounded off the corners. I think our grandson Harry may like this one.
I remember being told I must practise my piano playing when I was at school, so here is my entry for Gothic Arches 'Old School' challenge. The background piano keys paper was cut into the arch and the image from Crafty Images Emporium cd was matted onto copper mirri card. The message reads Just a Note but does not show too clearly on the scan - sorry. Now, of course, I wish I had played the piano more. I have also made this my entry for the new
