One Snowy Morning

Posted by PicasaMy challenge this week is to use ACETATE (with a Christmas theme) on a card together with using a digi  image from ChiChi Memories..... they gave the DT some lovely ones to choose from.... the little person peeping in the window was my choice coloured with Copics. Printed her onto pearlescent paper and guess what the Copics do not bleed through at all.... what a find!!! She was decoupaged too.
The background was created in Craft Artist, the window frame with acetate from Creative Expressions and the acetate holly and star from Crafting Direct... Steph's company. These were moulded using a heat gun to get the dimension and shape.   Oh and the message from Hunkydory. So one Christmas card less to make later on.  Do pop over to my challenge blog and give the challenge a go... you could win some digi images too.

Cheers

Posted by Picasa A card for 'Men' was the challenge from Arty Girlz this week so here is one I made a week or so ago. I stamped and coloured the main image from Creative Expressions I think, then matted and layered onto an orangey card slightly offsetting the image. I added some torn dominoes paper to a brown pearlescent card ,attached the image and found a smaller die cut of a pint of beer to finish it off.

Artfully Asian

Posted by PicasaI just love Oriental themes so was delighted to see 'Artfully Asian' as the challenge at My Time to Craft this week. First, I added some torn Glenda paper to an orange card and overlayed this with some orange pearlescent paper and some orange sticky ribbondown the edge. I attached a small orange square with fans which was from a QVC kit. I then created the orange background for the stamp using Stardust Stains in a couple of orangey colours then stamped over it in black Stazon the Creative Expressions wonderful Geisha stamp. I added some clear lantern and fan stickers and attached this lovely orange fan, from Lakeland, with a gold brad. I finished off with lots of little orange and gold Stickles glitter dots on the flowers, sleeves and fans. I also used this card for my own Monotone Rainbow challenge this week.

Butterfly Blue and Dragonfly Dreams

Posted by Picasa 'Butterfly Blue' was the challenge from Tanda Teaser and 'Tags' for TGIF so I combined the two with this creation. The blue pearlescent card was background stamped with butterflies, dragonflies and sentiments then coloured with chalks. The main image of waterlilies and dragonflies, a stamp from Jayne Nesterenko, was stamped on acetate and coloured with H2Os and glittered with Art Institute glitters. The two tags covered in blue waterlily and butterfly paper with added sentiments and ribbons finished the card off.
