Sweet Treats for Easter

Here is my DT card for my 'Sweet Treats' challenge this week over on my challenge blog.
As I am still overseas sunning myself I am not able to do much real crafting so CD crafting it has to be.  I made the card up using Craft Artist... seems to work well over here, no problems loading it.  I added a couple of my mesh ribbon flowers for embellishment. Do pop over to the challenge as there is a super prize to be won this week.....The Artistic Stamper is my sponsor.... wonderful fifteen pounds worth of your own choice of goodies.... wish I could enter..... lol.
Enjoy the challenge and Happy Easter one and all..... not toooo much chocolate now.

'Lilac Wine"

The challenge this week over on my challenge blog is a song title 'Lilac Wine'.
This was a hit for Elkie Brooks many years ago and has always been a favourite of mine. I have seen her sing it live many times.
The card was created mainly using my Craft Artist cd with the addition of the epoxy sticker of the purple grapes and the epoxy quote sticker  'Wine is bottled poetry' by Robert Louis Sevenson.  I also added a lilac spotted ribbon to embellish the card.
I hope you like it and give the challenge a go this week....  a voucher from Joanna Sheen is up for grabs.

A few views of the Island

These were taken on Sunday when we went out on our bike ride.

WOYWW in Bermuda

Here is my entry for WOYWW this week. Visit Julia if you don't know what I am talking about.
Well, as those of you who know me will see this is not my usual work desk.... I am over in Bermuda for a wee while so have to make do with the dining table which I covered with a cupcake tablecloth lol.
To the front of the picture you can see some ribbon mesh bows that I have been making... I bought them at NEC after my lovely friend Frankie found them.... wow they are super.... the mesh wirey stuff makes them do as you want and you can shape them easily.
On a visit to the town at the weekend I found these rolls of sticky ruler type tape.... never seen these before... they even have a cutter..... there are 2 turquoise rolls in inches and 3 yellow in centimeters. They will go nicely with my dress forms that I bought at the NEC - dressmaking seems to be 'in' at the moment.
To the right and back of the picture there are some sheets of stretch lace found in the charity shop the Barn and bought for a dollar each. I also found the pack of little silver buttons at the Barn too. I am sure I can make use of them sometime when I get home.
The little egg to the left is actually a rubber stamp of an Easer Egg found in a little boutique shop here.
Under all the wires at the back right you can see the programme for 'Fawlty Towers' a BMDS production here on the island that my husband worked on as backstage crew.
Please do not envy me being here as today it is pouring with rain and gale force winds.... third storm to pass over the island since I have been here - less than two weeks.
I hope you enjoy your Bermuda desk tour.... more local photos to come.
