I just love the fall or autumn season so made another couple of atcs for a swap. Stamped on the card using various inks then overstamped on vellum with the same inks, different stamps. Coloured a piece of mountboard with inks then overstamped and covered with Glossy accents. I added a leaf stamped in black Stazon onto gold metal foil with the back embossed to create the veins.
Decided to make a little booklet of an atc for an Autumn swap and also for Papertake Weekly challenge. The background on glossy card, was made using alcohol inks (a sample made by my friend Frankie at NEC last year) then overstamped with black and green Stazon with the various leaves. I added a mountboard piece covered in coloured inks then stamped and glazed with Glossy Accents. I attached a leaf, stamped in black Stazon, onto gold metal foil then embossed underneath to get the veins. The inside is coloured with inks and overstamped with the leaves in various colours. I folded the card, added some velcro fastenings and made it into a little booklet.
Three male birthdays later this month so here they are. The 'Daily Mail' tram for my elderly cousin Walter (I am sure he will remember this) is from Tina's FGS 'Stack it' collection as is the monkey and the Stack it part of the Indian card. The monkey being a tryptych and the other two are simply stacked onto the backgrounds. The background for the Indian teepee is from Arts and Crafts Direct. Three very quick male cards for today.
Well, after struggling for so long to get these right I emailed the lovely Nancy and she gave me some help. So these are for you Nancy. You were right that the final effect is quite stunning - just takes a bit more patience than usual to get there lol.
I bought this lovely Hampton Art Stamp from my local Craft Central earlier this week and was asked to make a card for them to show in the shop (this was the last stamp and they had no sample made up). I stamped with Stazon then coloured using Twinkling H2O's then clear embossing powder with some glitter to cover the whole image. Just some added red ribbon, sentiment and a few peel offs to complete the simple card. They were very pleased with it at the shop when I popped round earlier today and it is now on display for all to see.
Here are a couple more Christmas cards made using my new Dimension Fourth Christmas Stamps. The backgrounds were stamped using the swirl and text stamps. The main images were stamped and coloured using Sakura pens and Lyra Crayons then matted onto a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossed background and red silk mirri card. A couple of gold stickers and some Stickles glitter glue for embellishment.
Here is my Christmas door hanger for my Guest Designer Chrissie's challenge this week. I stamped the background using the Dimension Fourth clear Christmas stamps then stamped the stocking with the little mole onto card and also shrink plastic. I coloured both with Sakura pens and Lyra crayons then added some Stickles glitter glue and a gold brad to finish off and edged the whole hanger with gold Pentouch. I thought this would be nice for my new Grand-daughter Erin Kate for Christmas.
