Don't think I have posted this card I made for a card swap last week. It is a lovely unusual stamp that I picked up at Hobbycrafts stamped in black Stazon and matted onto silver mirri card. The black and white paper is from Create and Craft. A few added silver peeloffs and yes I gave away a silver tassel!
Three challenges in one here with 'Green' for Sunday Stampers, 'Asian' for Gothic Arches and 'Quotes' for Scrummy Stash Cafe. The background paper for the arch was created on white glossy card, using alcohol inks, bottle, lettuce, meadow and gold colours mixed together and pounced with the applicator. I then overstamped in green Stazon with various Oriental leaf and branch stamps. The butterfly and acetate cover are from a QVC kit attached with an Oriental coin and a green pearl brad. I added a Chinese quote on parchment torn and edged with green ink.
Well, here is my first Tilda creation made with my new stamp. Yes, I have been converted I think. Coloured in Cosmic Shimmer mica powders and chalks she is standing in front of the Swedish Flag. The topic at Tilda and Friends this week is 'Blue and Yellow' the colours of the flag, so here is my first entry.
My new copy of Technique Junkies arrived today and this was one of the new techniques called Colour Collage, which I just had to try. Created for Wednesday Stampers 'Purple' (my favourite colour) challenge I firstly swiped white glossy card with a pale pink ink pad. Then stamped a background Oriental blossom stamp over the top in a slightly darker colour. With various flower and flourish stamps I covered in the card leaving a gap in the centre for the purple face stamp from Rubbadubbadoo. I then overstamped with flourish, message and flowers to fill in all the gaps. I added purple ribbon on gold mirri card which was attached to the purple pearlescent card with the message 'Thinking of You'.
'Kings and Queens' was the topic from 4 x 4 Friday, so here is my 4 inch square spring card. The papers and King of Hearts and the Joker playing card are from a recent men's set from QVC simply layered and edged with gold peeloffs. An easy card to make now I have got the hang of spring cards, the scan makes it look off centre but I promise it is central in real life.
'Butterfly Blue' was the challenge from Tanda Teaser and 'Tags' for TGIF so I combined the two with this creation. The blue pearlescent card was background stamped with butterflies, dragonflies and sentiments then coloured with chalks. The main image of waterlilies and dragonflies, a stamp from Jayne Nesterenko, was stamped on acetate and coloured with H2Os and glittered with Art Institute glitters. The two tags covered in blue waterlily and butterfly paper with added sentiments and ribbons finished the card off.
Well, where do I begin with this creation, which has not turned out quite as I expected and has taken me all night to do. 
When I made an arch for a previous challenge I made this one as well so today it is my entry for Arty Girlz 'Chocolate' challenge. It is actually red, white and chocolate with the background card created with alcohol inks. Chocolates from the internet and the image a cd one, printed from My Craft Studio.
Well, here is my first attempt at a spring card made for a friend of my husband who loves motorbikes. Very simple to do after all - just cut round the template, fold and stick, then added the two yellow mulberry circles slightly offset. The motorbike from Dimension Fourth was stamped and watercoloured in twinkling H2Os and Sakura stardust pens. As I scan my cards you can't quite get the right effect but it does actually pop up nicely.
Sunday Stampers challenge today was 'Party in your hat' so here is my sweet little girl in her one year old hat. The image is from Crafty Images Emporium on silver mirri card. I stamped the word party in pink and added various sticker embellishments. Unusual card for me to make as I don't 'do' children, as most of you already will know.
'Games' was the challenge from DCM and 'Doodling' from Arty Girlz so here is my Las Vegas card. Stamps from Dimension Fourth and Elusive Images and playing cards from Las Vegas - yes really! Coloured in the background using sponge and inks direct to the card and purple squiggles with Sakura pen. Happy or Sad, Win or Lose - that is the question?
I made a few of these similar cards to use up the backing paper that I had typed with various time themed words and phrases. I coloured it in an antique glaze, and attached the torn piece to the brown card. The main image is a Serendipity stamp from Joanna Sheen aged with distress inks and coloured with pens. I added various other timepiece stamps from Rubbadubbadoo all distressed again. This is my entry for My Time to Craft 'Quotes' challenge for this week.
Made this last week (so you may have seen it before) as a good luck card for my husband's new job (which is going well so far) but thought you would not mind if I entered it in this week's Tanda Teaser challenge. He has a Triumph Bonneville and this was the nearest I could get to it; the stamp from Dimension Fourth, simply stamped with Art Impressions and Stampscapes and coloured in pens and chalks to make a scenic card.
The challenge this week at TMTA was 'Transparent' and although not very clear on the scan this Oriental lady is covered with an acetate transparency. On a green card with various ribbon and peeloff embellishments the lady and her cover are attached with the dragonfly brad.
This one made for our Son's birthday but thought it would be good for
